Weekend Forecast: Near-Normal Temperatures and Isolated Storms

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Today’s weather forecast predicts "near-normal temperatures" with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies in the San Angelo area, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). 

The highs are expected to reach around 98 degrees Fahrenheit, with southeast winds blowing at about 10 mph, gusting up to 20 mph. There is a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly near the I-10 corridor this afternoon.

The extended forecast indicates similar conditions over the weekend and into early next week.

Saturday and Sunday will remain partly cloudy with a slight chance of isolated storms, mainly affecting the Big Country. Morning lows will range from the lower to mid-70s, while afternoon highs will vary from the mid-80s to near 100 degrees.

Monday and Tuesday will continue with partly cloudy skies and south winds gusting up to 25 mph. Temperatures will remain consistent, with morning lows in the lower to mid-70s and afternoon highs in the mid-90s to 102 degrees.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions against the heat, while also being aware of potential isolated thunderstorms, especially if traveling along the I-10 corridor.
