SAN ANGELO, TX — Fairmount Cemetery staff will conduct a thorough cleaning of the burial grounds on Monday, July 15, to facilitate the property’s maintenance.
During this process, flowers and other items will be removed from gravesites.
Residents wishing to preserve any items are advised to collect them from gravesites by the end of the day on Friday, July 12. Starting Thursday, August 1, items may be returned to the cemetery, located at 1100 W. Avenue N.
Items left at gravesites will be picked up and held for one week, allowing residents to retrieve them. Unclaimed items will be disposed of on Monday, July 22.
Lot owners are reminded to place flowers only to the sides or in cradles on top of monuments to enable proper maintenance of gravesites.
