SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State Rambelles Tennis team recently had three players earn All-American honors. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced this season’s DII All-Americans on Tuesday, June 4, and the Belles Letizia Corsini, Avery Durham, and Eva Schwartz made the list.
Corisini, a Sophomore from Porto Sant’Elpidio, Italy, made the All-American list in Singles this season. Corsini finished 22-1 in the No. 1 Singles position for the Belles with a 10-0 conference record in the 2024 season. She was also named to the CSC All-American Second Team. She helped the Belles appear in the program’s first-ever appearance at the DII Women’s Tennis Championships.
Avery Durham and Eva Schwartz made the All-American list for Doubles. These ladies represented the No. 1 Doubles spot for the Belles this season and finished 18-5 with a 7-3 conference record. Durham and Schwartz helped Angelo State win the doubles points in 22 of their 25 matches this year.
According to Angelo State Athletics, in the last ITA DII Singles rankings from May 29th, Corsini was ranked 3rd, the highest singles ranking in program history. She was ranked 1st in the South Central Regional ITA DII Regional Ranking from May 29th. Durham and Schwartz were ranked 10th. The pairing was ranked second in the South Central Regional ITA DII Regional Rankings from May 29th.
