Belles Allison Vaughn Named LSC's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year

 

RICHARDSON, TX — The Lone Star Conference announced Monday that Angelo State Belles Allison Vaughn is the LSC’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year.

Vaughn is a Concho Valley native from Christoval, TX, and was named an NCAA Division II First-Team All-American selection this season. A week ago, she took 8th overall in the Triple Jump at the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships with a 2.60-meter leap (41’1.25”).

During the LSC Outdoor Championships, Vaughn scored the most points for the Belles, scoring 21 points overall. She finished second in the triple jump, third overall in the heptathlon, and third in the 400-meter hurdles. 

Vaughn also added a First-Team All-Conference honor for the LSC for her performance during the outdoor season.
