TAMPA, FL — Texas Tech led all college football programs in the nation with 24 players named to the 2025 Shrine Bowl 1000, the East-West Shrine Bowl organization announced Monday.
The Shrine Bowl 1000 is an annual list identifying the top 1,000 NFL Draft-eligible players across all divisions of NCAA football. The list is developed in consultation with NFL and collegiate personnel to spotlight early prospects for the East-West Shrine Bowl and the upcoming draft class.

The 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl will take place January 27 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The premier all-star game offers participants the opportunity to work with NFL coaches in a professional setting and use NFL-level facilities and resources.
Texas Tech has seen recent success at the Shrine Bowl translate to the next level. Running back Tahj Brooks and tight end Jalin Conyers, both participants in the 2025 Shrine Bowl, are currently on NFL rosters entering training camp. Defensive backs Tyler Owens and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, who played in the 2024 edition, are entering their second professional seasons.
