SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo woman has been arrested for sexually assaulting a young teenager.
Corinne Rojas, 22, of San Angelo, was arrested on May 25, 2024, for Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.
According to court documents, on May 25, 2024, a San Angelo police officer investigated allegations that the defendant, identified as Rojas, had sexual contact with a 13-year-old. In a forensic interview, the 13-year-old stated that he woke up and Rojas was sexually assaulting him.
The child victim circled the private areas on an anatomically correct drawing of where the child was assaulted. The child pushed Rojas off of him and ran out of the room.
Rojas was interviewed and allegedly said that she began drinking alcoholic beverages in her bedroom until she blacked out. She also said she remembered nothing between then and when the police arrived.
Rojas was arrested on May 25, 2024, and is currently an inmate in the Tom Green County Jail being held on a $100,000 bond.
