Here's what Easter candy Texans ordered the most this year

SAN ANGELO, TX — DoorDash used its 2023 ordering data to determine Texas' favorite Easter candy this year. 

The data released by DoorDash shows that Texas is among several states with a preference for Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs during the Easter season. 

The data also showed that Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs topped the list as the most popular Easter candy ordered through DoorDash.

The survey also revealed that about 31 percent of Americans consider Easter their favorite holiday for indulging in candy, surpassing even Halloween and Christmas in popularity. 

Texans, in particular, showed a preference for classic yellow marshmallow peeps over other colors, joining 37 other states, including New York, California, and Florida, in this choice.
