San Angelo City Office Closures for the Holidays

 

SAN ANGELO, Texas — In observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays, city operations will be closed on Dec. 25, 26, and Jan. 1. Details regarding the holiday schedule are outlined below.

Trash Service

Trash collection will experience a one-day delay during the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Closure of the landfill is scheduled for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

City Office Closures

Several city operations will be closed from Dec. 25 through Jan. 1, including the San Angelo Animal Shelter, Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices, the San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department, the McNease Convention Center, Municipal Court, the Parks and Recreation offices, Station 618, Santa Fe Crossing senior centers, Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, and the water billing offices.

City offices are set to reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 27, and Tuesday, Jan. 2.

WIC

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services will remain closed on Dec. 25-26 and Monday, Jan. 1. For more information, visit cosatx.us/wic.

Fort Concho

Fort Concho and its visitor center located at 630 S. Oakes St. will observe closures from Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1. Regular operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For further details, visit fortconcho.com.

Concho Valley PAWS

Concho Valley PAWS, the pet adopting agency contracted by the City, will operate under special holiday hours from noon to 6 p.m. on Dec. 19-21 and 27-29. Offices will be closed from Dec. 22-26 and Dec. 30-Jan. 2. Normal operating hours of noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
