SAN ANGELO— The Texas High School Semi-Final Football games are over and the Texas State Championships games are set for next week at AT&T Stadium, or known to some as Jerry's World!
It has been a long time coming since August when two-a-days kicked off for the 2023 Texas High School Football season. The Concho Valley had great participation in the early rounds of the playoffs, with such schools as Wall, Sonora, San Angelo TLCA, Brady, Miles, Eldorado, and plenty of others. But heartbreak would be around the corner as no teams in the Concho Valley would punch their ticket to AT&T Stadium.
This coming week, the Texas High School Football State Championships will be played on December 13 through December 16, starting with 1A and ending with 6A. The schedule for the state games are as follows:
Wednesday, December 13, 2023
- Westbrook v Gordon – 11:00 a.m.

- Tolar v Timpson – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, December 14, 2023
