Sideswiped F-150 Stalls Traffic on Bryant

SAN ANGELO, TX —On Tuesday morning, November 14,  between Highland and the 1300 block of S. Abe streets, two vehicles crashed causing substantial damage to both vehicles, sending one driver to the hospital with minor injuries.

The vehicles in question involved a red F-150 and a gray Kia Forte which were both headed south bound. According to the San Angelo Police Department officer on the scene, a witness said that the Kia Forte made an unsafe lane change and side swiped the Ford truck. After they collided, both vehicles spun around and then came to a stop, sending debris scattered throughout the street.

When paramedics arrived on scene they initially had trouble removing the driver who seemed to be trapped in the twisted up Kia Forte. After several minutes of maneuvering the vehicle parts with certain equipment, paramedics and firefighters were able to safely pull the man from his vehicle without further harm and place him on a gurney and into the back of an ambulance that would take him straight to Shannon hospital to treat minor injuries.
