WALL, TX — The Wall Hawks wrap up the regular season this Friday, November 3, against the Brady Bulldogs in Wall. The Hawks currently sit at 4-0 in district play and have the opportunity to finish perfect this week to claim another outright district championship. Wall’s head coach, Houston Guy, spoke with San Angelo LIVE!’s Ryan Chadwick after practice on Wednesday to discuss the matchup with Brady and the playoffs in the coming weeks.
Watch the interview with Coach Guy below:
Guy said the Hawks played their best football a week ago against Early and hopes to continue that momentum to cap off the regular season against Brady. The Hawks have averaged almost 62 points per game since their lackluster loss to Mason in Week 6. As Wall approaches the playoffs, these Hawks are hitting their stride on offense at the perfect time.
Defensively, the Hawks’ defense produced another outstanding performance against Early. Wall allowed six points in that matchup and averaged 7.2 points allowed per game in 2023. We all knew how good this defense could be before the year began, and they’ve lived up to the hype. No one should be surprised if Brady scores less than ten points against Wall on Friday night.
The game against the Bulldogs will be at Hawk Stadium in Wall, and kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
