Two people were rushed to the hospital in ambulances after a two-vehicle crash on Knickerbocker Rd at the Red Bluff Rd. intersection just after 2 p.m. today.

According to the San Angelo police, a black Ford Focus was at the stop sign on Red Bluff and turned out in front of the Toyota 4-Runner.

The southbound 4-Runner hit the Focus and both Focus occupants, a male and a female, were rushed to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

No one in the 4-Runner was hurt. Police said they will issue the driver of the Focus a citation at the hospital for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.

Both vehicles were towed to the wrecking yard.
