SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash occurred Thursday at East 23rd Street and Armstrong Street, involving a Buick passenger car and a Ford pickup, according to the police.
It happened shortly before 4 p.m. The police said that both vehicles were traveling westbound on East 23rd Street when the Buick, which was in front, braked suddenly to avoid another hazard. The Ford pickup was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of the Buick, the police said.
Each vehicle had three occupants. No serious injuries were reported, though one passenger in the Buick complained of pain. Medics and firefighters responded, and all occupants were released at the scene after evaluation.
Police cited the driver of the Ford pickup for failure to control speed.
