Famous Friday Night Lights Football Star Boobie Miles Sentenced to Prison

ODESSA, TX – The star running back from Odessa Permian's 'Friday Night Lights' has been sentenced to 13 years in a Texas prison.

As previously reported, on January 5, 2023, James "Boobie" Miles, aged 52, of Odessa, was arrested by the Taylor County Sheriff's Office for failure to register as a sex offender and for violating a bond or protective order. Now, Miles has been sentenced in Ector County for failing to register. Additionally, he is facing charges for allegedly strangling his former wife.
