Gas Prices in San Angelo Plummet

SAN ANGELO, TX – Gas prices are under $3 in San Angelo for the first time in months.

According to Gas Buddy, as of May 19, 2023, the majority of unleaded gas in San Angelo is under the $3 mark with an average of $2.96. The cheapest gas in town is at the Allsup's and Walmart on South Bryant. Both of these location have unleaded gas priced at $2.86.

Despite San Angelo's number dropping, the town is still not on the top 10 cheapest spots in Texas. 

The following is the top 10 cheapest places to get gas in Texas on May 19, 2023:

  1. Fox Fules - 3603 Marvin D Love Fwy - Dallas - $2.64
  2. Valero - 2598 N Main St. - Vidor - $2.66
  3. Alon - 1209 E 11th Pl.- Big Spring - $2.68
  4. Murphy Express - 1900 E Expressway 83 - Penitas - $2.69
  5. Mobil - 444 FM-1960 W - Houston - $2.69
  6. Walmart - 1705 E Expressway 83 - Penitas - $2.69
  7. Exxon - 690 N Main St. - Vidor - $2.69
  8. Mainland Express - 8500 Emmett F Lowry Expressway - Texas City - $2.69
  9. Texaco - 14425 IH-10 E. - San Antonio - $2.69
  10. Valera & Circle K - 1301 N SL-340 - Lacy-Lakeview - $2.69
