PHOENIX, AZ — The NBA Playoffs are well underway, and multiple Game 2’s are already in the books. On Tuesday, April 18, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Pheonix Suns battled it out in Pheonix. After an exciting finish in Game 1, the Suns played much better down the stretch. Phoenix won on Tuesday 123-109.
Devin Booker took over Game 2 to lift the Suns over the Clippers. He had 38 points off of 14-22 shooting and nine assists. He added 4-7 3-point attempts and went 6-6 from the line. Kevin Durant added an additional 25 points with 5-6 free throw attempts made.
The Suns even the series at a game a piece (1-1) as the series heads to Los Angeles. As well as the Clippers play at times, they need to rely on Kahwi Leonard if they hope to recapture the lead and eventually win the series.
