SAN ANGELO— Rising Country Music Star Case Hardin hits his third consecutive opening week with his new song "Stoned."
Hardin, a four-time Texas Radio #1 hitmaker, achieved his third opening week in a row "Trifecta" with his new radio single, Stoned.
Stoned is featured on Hardin's latest album Lucky Him produced by Hardin and Kenny Grohman (George Strait). Other singles off the album, Honky Tonk Highway and Most Beautiful Place I've Ever Been are also both "Trifecta" singles, meaning each single had more adds by country radio than any other song onto chart in that week, with the most spin increases and is the highest debut of any other song on the chart at the time.
"Each of those three categories are the most important numbers for a strong debut week. If a new single gets the top spot in just one of those categories during its debut week, it's a big deal. If the song lands the top spot in all three categories, that's like the Holy Trinity for a new single," said Rick Hogan, Owner of On The Chart Promotions, "I've been doing this for 18 years. This accomplishment is so rare that during a year there may be only one or two Trifectas. They are almost always by one of the top acts in Texas, so for an up and comer like Case to do it, it's quite an accomplishment, proving he is the top rising artist on the Texas radio charts."
"Stoned is exactly that. It's a rock-solid love song that perfectly demonstrates how it feels when you've found your person, and all you want to do is give them your everything. That feeling you get is better than any high or buzz you'd get from anything else. I'm proud of Stoned, with its smooth melody and lyricism. It's solid country gold in the making." says Case.
This release follows Hardin's Most Beautiful Place I've Ever Been, which was his fourth consecutive Texas Regional Radio #1 and his seventh Texas radio Top 5. His additional #1 include Honky Tonk Highway, which hit #1 only 15 weeks after release, Alcohol Abuse, and When You Roll That Way. The Honky Tonk Highway single and video was featured on The Country Note alongside the likes of Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, and Eric Church.
