Music Legend Bob Dylan to Perform in Abilene

ABILENE, TX — Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Bob Dylan has announced a new tour that will end just 90 miles from San Angelo next year in Abilene.

Dylan, who is now 84 years old, became a music icon in the 1960s with hits such as “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “The Times They Are a-Changin,’” “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Mr. Tambourine Man,” “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and “Subterranean Homesick Blues.”

His new tour, titled “The Rough and Rowdy Ways,” will include 27 stops across the U.S., many of them in smaller markets.

It will begin March 21 in Omaha, Nebraska and end May 1 at the Abilene Convention Center.

He’s also set to perform in another Texas city, Tyler, on April 29.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, Dec. 12.
