San Angelo Woman Arrested for Alleged Tryst with Juvenile

SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo woman has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child after getting drunk and blacking out two years ago.

According to court documents, on February 21, 2023, an investigator interviewed the child victim who advised on Sunday, October 17, 2021, the defendant, Sokha Loth, picked him up outside his residence around 11:00 p.m.

Then, the child states that Loth drove to an unknown location several blocks away and parked the vehicle. There, the child alleges that Loth performed a sexual act on him before telling the victim to get into the backseat where she assaulted him again. After that, the victim stated Loth drove him home.

On February 21, 2023, the investigator observed Snapchat messages between Loth and the victim that were from October 17, 2021. At around 8:30 p.m., Loth messages the victim:

• “I’ll pick you up.”
• “Let’s f**k f**k lmao”
• “I’ll message u when u need to come out.”

On February 22, 2023, Loth was interviewed and told authorities her relationship with the child was like a “son” or “brother” and all she remembered was "getting drunk" and "blacking out". Loth also denied sexually assaulting the child.

Loth was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility on March 6, 2023, for sexual assault of a child and was released the same day on $75,000 bond.
