SAN ANGELO, TX — Several Concho Valley High School Basketball Teams played playoff matchups on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Here are the results from Tuesday’s games.
SAN ANGELO CENTRAL 46 EL PASO EASTWOOD 48
In a rematch of the football playoffs, the Central Bobcats traveled to Alpine to play the Troopers at Sul Ross State University on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Despite leading the entire first half, the Bobcats only put up three points in the 3rd quarter and gave away the lead. The ‘Cats fought back desperately in the 4th quarter but fell in the final ten seconds, 48-46.
WALL 65 INGRAM MOORE 39
The Hawks dominated both ends of the floor for the entire game. Ingram Moore played hard but could not match the Hawks’ intensity. Logan Thomas paved the way with 18 points, and the Hawks won 65-39
TLCA 37 BRADY 41
In easily the most shocking matchup of the night, Brady defeated the No. 1 seeded TLCA Eagles 41-37 in Sonora. The Eagles led by three entering the 4th quarter, but the Bulldogs would not go away. Brady took advantage of TLCA’s intensity, slowed the game down, and forced the Eagles to play at their pace. Drew Sherril tried to push the Eagles into control late in the 4th quarter, but the Bulldogs held on for the upset. Brady’s Garret Everett had 17 points.

Robert Lee defeated Menard 42-26, and Bronte defeated Santa Anna 52-30.
GIRLS
The Girls played several Regional Quarterfinals matchups. Irion County defeated Eden 44-20, Christoval’s Lady Cougars fell to No. 2 New Home 62-33, and Veribest’s Lady Falcons defeated Menard 67-32.
