Winter Weather Forces High School Basketball Schedule Changes

SAN ANGELO, TX — Several Concho Valley High School Basketball teams’ matchups scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 31, have been moved due to inclement weather.

The Christoval Cougars and Lady Cougars versus Water Valley Wild Cats moved to Monday, Jan. 30, at Christoval High School, starting with the girls at 5 p.m. and the boys at 6:15 p.m.

The Wall Hawks and Lady Hawks’ away game versus Ballinger moved to Thursday, Feb. 2, starting with the girls at 6:15 p.m. and the boys at 7:45 p.m.

The TLCA Eagles and Lady Eagles versus the Clyde Bulldogs in Clyde moved to Monday, Jan. 30, with the Freshman Boys and JV Girls starting at 4 p.m. Followed by the JV Boys at 5:15, the Varsity Girls at 6:30 and the Varsity Boys at 7:45 p.m.

The matchup between Ozona High School and Sterling City scheduled for Monday, Jan. 30, is canceled.

SAISD announced that all athletic events scheduled for Monday, Jan. 30, are canceled, but no word yet for Tuesday, Jan. 31. School officials said that a decision would be made later in the day on Monday.

UPDATE 12 p.m.

As of 1 p.m. Christoval High School has canceled the games on Monday night versus Water Valley.

UPDATE 2 p.m.

The Eldorado Eagles canceled their matchup against Big Lake on Monday Night. Big Lake and Eldorado both have a 2-hour delayed start to school on Tuesday.
