SAN ANGELO – It comes to no surprise to daily commuters in south San Angelo that College Hills Blvd. from Ave. N to Vista Del Arroyo is under construction. There have been several road closures and detours since the summer of 2022 and the road now is down to one lane in each direction. Beginning Monday, Jan. 9 and lasting for a month, the section of roadway from Millbrook to Vista Del Arroyo will be closed completely again.

According to information from the City of San Angelo, crews are working on new stormwater infrastructure:
Where: College Hills Boulevard from Millbrook to Vista del Arroyo Drive.
When: Tuesday, Jan. 10, to Monday, Feb. 13.
Detours: Oxford Avenue to Sul Ross Street to Hemlock for College Hills south. Sunset Drive to Huntington Lane to Millbrook for north College Hills.
In addition, Vista Del Arroyo will be closed again between College Hills and Sul Ross for the next ten days.

Detours: Use College Hills to access west Vista del Arroyo.
This road closure is due to wastewater infrastructure construction.
