SAN ANGELO, TX – Local recruiting and staffing agency, Spherion, made two large donations to local San Angelo groups just before Christmas.
According to Spherion, on Dec. 15, Perla Garza and the team at the local San Angelo staffing and recruiting firm donated $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo and $500 to Meals for the Elderly.
This is a part of Spherion San Angelo’s ongoing effort to make a positive impact on residents of the San Angelo community, whether it be through monetary donations or helping community members find work during times of need.
Spherion's Community Giveback Program, which is in its eighth year, began on Giving Tuesday, November 29. The campaign aims to amplify the missions of the nonprofit organizations that create change in local communities.
