ARLINGTON- The Texas High School Football State Championships are finally set!
The semi-finals round was completed over the weekend from Thursday through Saturday while the 1A games have been set since last week. Here are the teams that will be playing at state and the game times.
1A)
Semi-Final
- Benjamin over Whitharrel 76-31
- Loraine over Oakwood 86-38
- Westbrook over Happy 40-30
- Abbott over Irion County 88-60
State
- Benjamin v Loraine at 11:00 a.m.
- Westbrook v Abbott at 2:00 p.m.
1A games will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
2A)
Semi-Final
- Albany over New Home 53-25
- Mart over Burton 41-14
- Hawley over Crawford 34-20
- Refugio over Timpson 24-21
State
- Albany v Mart at 7:00 p.m.
- Hawley v Refugio at 11:00 a.m.
Albany will face off against Mart on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 while Hawley and Refugio will play on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
3A)
Semi-Final
- Gunter over Canadian 21-20
- Poth over Harmony 51-28
- Brock over Malakoff 21-10
- Franklin over Edna 41-13
State
- Gunter v Poth at 3:00 p.m.
- Brock v Franklin at 7:00 p.m.
Both 3A games will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
4A)
Semi-Final
- Carthage over Glen Rose 42-35
- Wimberley over Cuero 42-36
- China Springs over Decatur 33-27
- Boerne over Tyler Chapel Hill 35-0
State
- Carthage v Wimberly at 11:00 a.m.
- China Springs v Boerne at 3:00 p.m.
Both 4A games will take place on Friday, December 16, 2022.
5A)
Semi-Finals
- South Oak Cliff over Argyle 14-6
- Port Neches-Groves over Liberty Hill 42-14
- Aledo over Longview 17-14
- College Station over Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial 33-7
State
- South Oak Cliff v Port Neches-Groves at 7:00 p.m.
- Aledo v College Station at 11:00 a.m.
South Oak Cliff against Port Neches-Groves will take place on Friday, December 16, 2022 while Aldeo against College Station will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
6A)
Semi-Final
- DeSoto over Denton Guyer 47-28
- Austin Vandegrift over Katy 38-35
- Duncanville over Prosper 41-0
- Galena Park North Shore over Austin Westlake 49-34
State
- DeSoto v Austin Vandegrift at 3:00 p.m.
- Duncanville v Galena Park North Shore at 7:00 p.m.
Both 6A games will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
