Chipotle Mexican Grill Announces Opening Date in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO – The opening date of the new Chipotle Mexican Grill on Jackson street in San Angelo is only weeks away.

According to Chipotle's Analyst and External Communications Sally Evans, Chipotle's location at 3515 S. Jackson S will be opening on Sep. 27 at 10:45 a.m.

Along with the grand opening, Chipotle will reveal its very own fiberglass sheep! Another positive out of the grand opening is that the first 50 guests on opening day will receive complimentary Chipotle merchandise.

Chipotle began construction in March of 2022. This particular Chipotle has a dining room, front line and a  "Chipotlane" drive-thru pickup lane for guests to pick up digital order without leaving their cars.

One of the biggest advocators for getting the Mexican restaurant was San Angelo native and VP of Digital Marketing and Off Premise Tressie Lieberman.

"As a San Angelo native, I am thrilled that my community will now have access to Chipotle’s real ingredients with two new Chipotle restaurants," said Lieberman. "We’ve created a seamless and convenient experience for our guests whether they choose to dine in-restaurant or order digitally for delivery or pickup via the Chipotlane or mobile order pickup."

This isn't the only Chipotle coming to town either. This winter, the second Chipotle location will open at the former Taco Bueno location on Sherwood way between Panda Express and Chick-Fil-A.
