LAS VEGAS – World record competitive eater Joey Chestnut is switching from hot dogs to chicken tenders in Las Vegas Wednesday.
Raising Cane’s is celebrating National Chicken Finger Day by combining the world’s greatest eater with the world’s greatest chicken fingers. Legendary competitive eater Joey Chestnut will attempt to set the Raising Cane’s record for most chicken fingers eaten in five minutes from the company’s new flagship restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip.
In addition, Raising Cane’s will be giving away free chicken fingers to loyal customers from July 27 through July 30.
Chestnut, who won the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4 despite distraction from protesters, will head out to the two-story, one-of-a-kind restaurant on the Vegas Strip to set the record. Raising Cane’s will be live streaming the event on Facebook @RaisingCanes. The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
