Kohl's San Angelo Location is Getting Closer to Completion

SAN ANGELO- Walls, a roof, and a parking lot are all up for a new retail store anchoring a brand new shopping center near Sam's Club in southwest San Angelo.

In January, San Angelo LIVE reported on the expansion of San Angelo shopping with a new shopping center near Sam’s Club and that Kohl’s Department Store would be the featured retailer.

In that update, crews had begun leveling the ground and now, a parking lot has been set as well as the Kohl’s building is getting closer to completion.

Along with Kohl’s, a brand-new shopping center is going to be constructed called “The Shops at Sherwood”. This shopping center will be located between Sam’s Club and The Boulevard Apartments.

Kohl's is similar to a JCPenney and sell clothing, bedding, home goods, toys, kitchen supplies, and shoes.

Joining Kohl’s in The Shops at Sherwood is a second Chipotle Mexican Grill and possibly an Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant.

One Chipotle is being built on South Jackson next to San Angelo Stadium and is looking to be completed by the end of summer 2022.
