SAN ANGELO – The Juneteenth Freedom Celebration in San Angelo is a day long celebration of freedom featuring a parade, games & fun and great food to mark the occasion that word of President Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation freeing slaves in the United States made its way to Texas on June 19, 1865.
The day long festivities were celebrated in the shade of the beautiful MLK park on MLK Dr. near 22nd St..
The annual parade began at the corner of 9th St. and MLK Dr. and proceeded up MLK to the park on 22nd St.

The 2022 Juneteenth Parade in San Angelo included the Buffalo Soldiers Honor Guard from Ft. Concho, Emergency Vehicles, San Angelo Parks Dept. Director Carl White, Mayor Brenda Gunter, several church and music groups, Pastor Gary Jenkins & lots of kids and candy.

PermalinkI always considered the "GoBrandon!" thing to be (1) childish, and (2) downright stupid... like so much of Trump's base.
Anybody who is watching the January 6 hearing and does not recognize that Trump and his toadies committed criminal, seditious acts completely misplaced their brains somewhere along the way. Certainly what brains they may have had at birth are not in attendance and functioning now.

Each sides head is so far up the top R or the top Ds back side. There is apparent lack of oxygen up there based on the dumb, hypocrisy spewed by BOTH sides.

On February 20, 2018, President Trump issued a memorandum instructing the Attorney General “to dedicate all available resources to… propose for notice and comment a rule banning all devices that turn legal weapons into machineguns.”

PermalinkDude, this is the first time I’ve posted in quite some time. You cannot read or have no comprehension of what you do read. I think politics are a game and the people that buy into it are ignorant buffoons that spout whatever trending nonsense their TV tells them to. This becomes apparent when a simple question is asked but receives an answer that lacks any substance at all, much less actually answers the question.
