WATCH: Driver Hospitalized After Crash Near Courthouse

SAN ANGELO – One driver was injured in a two vehicle crash in front of the Tom Green County Courthouse at the corner of Irving St. and Harris Ave. Wednesday afternoon.  

According to information from San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division Investigating Officer Welch, a white Chevrolet pickup was northbound on Irving. St. while a black Dodge Dart was southbound on Irving.  

The pickup attempted to turn left onto Harris Ave. and crashed into the Dodge.  The driver of the Dodge was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The driver of the Dodge suffered non-life threatening injuries.  

The driver of the pickup was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way causing the crash.
