SAN ANGELO – One driver was hospitalized after being injured in a three vehicle crash at the intersection of S. Abe St. and Washington Dr. Wednesday afternoon.
According to information from San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Welch, a maroon Chevrolet 1500 pickup was southbound on Abe St. approaching the intersection. A maroon Cadillac was westbound on Washington at the light when the crash occurred.

Officer Welch says the driver of the pickup disregarded the stop light according to witnesses and crashed into the Cadillac. The Cadillac then spun around and hit a parked GMC pickup.
The driver of the Cadillac was transported to the hospital via ambulance with non live threatening injuries. Welch said the driver of the Chevy pickup will be issued a citation for disregarding the stop light and for driving with an invalid driver's license.
