Major Street Construction Now Underway Along the River in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO – Road crews have started major construction on Rio Concho Drive from downtown San Angelo to the newly completed Bell St.

According to the city, construction has begun on the Rio Concho Drive Full Depth Replacement Project, which spans from Magdalene Street east to the intersection of Bell Street and Rio Concho Drive.

Rio Concho Drive is still open to vehicular traffic during this phase of the project, but any detours later set up will be marked with signage.
