SAN ANGELO, TX – The best way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day 2022 is to join Downtown San Angelo in the Pot of Gold Stroll.
The Downtown Strong Stroll Pot of Gold event is an evening of fun and entertainment for friends & family. We are excited to announce along with participating businesses, Downtown San Angelo Inc. has implemented a game for this stroll.
The game is simple, all you have to do is visit all participating businesses and pick up a raffle ticket. After receiving a ticket from each location, you may turn them in at the Museum of Fine Arts to enter for a chance to win a prize basket from downtown businesses.
A winner will be announced later that evening on the San Angelo Downtown Strong Face Book page. The Concho Valley Transit District and San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts have so graciously sponsored the Trolley transportation. While you enjoy a relaxing free ride from one stop to the next, our stroll guide will share the history of historic downtown and give more insight about participating venues.
The Trolley will begin its route at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts at 1 Love Street at 5 p.m., where you may park your vehicle and return to the museum.
The pot of gold stroll will last from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The stroll will begin at the Monk Art Gallery and Wine Bar 118 S Chadbourne St. They will be giving away a free Sunday brunch ticket worth $30.
Then the group will go to Twisted Root Burger Co., located at 333 S Chadbourne St. Twisted Root drink specials will be $2.00 Green Beer $4.00 Guinness and Jameson $5.00 Irish Breakfast, Irish Car Bombs and Irish Fist Fights and Lucky Punch. Twisted Root St Patrick Day T-Shirts for sale ($20.00), if you already have one and wear it in you will get a 15% discount on your entree.
Following drinks, it will be time for dinner. Fuentes Cafe Downtown, located at 101 S Chadbourne St will be having a giveaway. Present your Fuentes receipts to be entered to win a $100 Visa gift card. Receipts from Thursday 17th will only be entered. Winner will be announced on Friday March 18th.
The stroll will go one from there to Serenity’s Casual Wear, located at113 E Concho Ave. There will be giveaways and free refreshments! By this time you sweet tooth should be ready for Cowboy Up Chocolates. CUC is located at 6 E Concho Ave. They will be giving 10% off purchases and samples of Irish Cream Truffles.
From there the group will go to the Old Central Firehouse Pizzeria & Taproom, located at 200 S Magdalen St. They will be handing out green beer and scratch off tickets with prizes! The tour will end with at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, located at 1 Love Street. Galleries and gift shop will be open.
