San Angelo Fire Department Names Interim Chief

 

SAN ANGELO – The San Angelo Fire Department has announced Assistant Chief of Administration Patrick Brody has been appointed interim Fire Chief.  

According to the City of San Angelo, Brody has been appointed interim fire chief of the San Angelo Fire Department.

Brody has been in the fire service since 2001, serving all 21 of those years with SAFD. He has been in his current position as assistant fire chief of administration for three years. He holds a master certification in both structural and aircraft rescue firefighting, in addition to being a certified incident commander, hazardous material incident commander, and an incident safety officer.

Brody replaces long time Fire Chief Brian Dunn who announced his retirement earlier this month effective Feb. 25. 

He and his wife, Kristy, have been married almost 25 years and have two sons who are 17 and 18.
