CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO –– A 32-year-old woman is facing a murder charge after allegedly killing her boyfriend with a sword on Christmas Eve.
According to the Cape Girardeau Police Department, Brittany Wilson called 9-1-1 to report the murder.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Brittany Wilson outside the home she shared with the victim, 34-year-old Harrison Stephen Foster.
Wilson had blood on her clothes and had the sword in the front yard.
Inside the home, officers found Foster with multiple stab wounds that appeared to be fresh. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
During an interview with police, Wilson stated the couple had taken methamphetamine earlier that day. She also stated Foster had several entities living inside of his body, so she set him free by stabbing him.
Wilson was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. Her bond was set at $2 million.
