Police Offer Reward for Information Leading to Unidentified Fugitive Murder Suspect

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX –– The San Antonio Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that can lead to the identity and arrest of a murder suspect.

According to SAPD, 21-year-old Brandon Olguin was killed by an unknown assailant during a bar shooting back in 2019.

Olguin was working as a security guard at a San Antonio bar when he got into an argument with two customers.

As the argument escalated, the three individuals began shooting at each other. One of the customers, identified as Jose Covarrubias, died at the scene.

Olguin was rushed to the hospital where he would also succumb to his injuries.

SAPD detectives are asking the public's assistance for any information on a possible shooter.
