SAN ANGELO, TX -- In his 13th year serving as a member of the San Angelo Central High School Athletics Booster Club, Club President Joe Guttery has been named the 2021 Dave Campbell's Texas Football Community Connector.
As President of the Booster Club, he and its members are tasked each year with making sure all sports at Central High School are supported.
"It is an honor to be nominated by Coach Crane because I appreciate him so much," said Guttery. "This award is really about the Booster Club because I am just one person on a team of amazing volunteers who donate their time, energy, and money to support our student-athletes and coaches. We're proud to have the opportunity to give back to CHS and to support our community."
As a San Angelo native and graduate of Central High School Joe is considered to be one of the most dedicated Bobcat fans. His family has held CHS season football tickets for over 50 years in support of the Angry Orange.
