SAN ANGELO – The City of San Angelo and Keep San Angelo Beautiful have teamed up to collect old automobile tires Saturday to keep them out of the landfill and off of private property.
According to the City of San Angelo's Communications Department, on Saturday Sep. 18, crews will be accepting old tires in the San Angelo Coliseum parking lot, 50 E. 43rd St., from 8 a.m. to noon.
The event is sponsored by Keep San Angelo Beautiful and the City of San Angelo.
The crews will only accept car and pickup truck tires.
