COVID Cancels Another Area Football Game

WINTERS – The matchup between the Bangs Dragons and the Winters Blizzards set for Friday night has been canceled.

According to the Bangs superintendent Dr. Josh Martin, the varsity team has been impacted by COVID-related absences.

Head Coach Kyle Maxfield said that one player was out for the game against Florence but now nearly half the team has been hit.

“It is very frustrating but it’s one of those things. We just try to control what we can and keep on keeping on.” Kyle Maxfield said.

Winters, who had to cancel their game last week against the 10th ranked Eldorado Eagles, did manage to find another opponent this week in the Crane Golden Cranes.
