Nominations are now being accepted for the City of San Angelo’s annual Development and Design Awards for projects completed in 2014. Awards categories are:
- Adaptive Reuse – Sustainable design by renovation or creative reuse of an existing building.
- Architectural Commercial Design – Outstanding architectural design in new construction.
- Residential Design – Outstanding home design in new construction.
- Landscape of the Year – Investment in high-quality commercial landscaping design.
Sustainable Design – Innovative use of sustainable design or features. Nomination forms may be filled out online or printed off the City’s website at cosatx.us/DevelopmentServices and emailed to [email protected], faxed to 325-657-4435 or mailed to Development Services, 52 W. College Ave., San Angelo, TX 76903, ATTN: Sarah Tackett.
The awards, co-sponsored by the Home Builders Association of San Angelo and the San Angelo Association of Realtors, will be handed out in five categories during the 7th Annual San Angelo Development Forum from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts at 1 Love St. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Sarah Tackett at 325-657-4210.
