Family Loses Baby's Urn In Devastating Apartment Fire

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio family is facing a tragedy after losing everything in a house fire including the urn containing the ashes of their six-month-old daughter.

Back on June 28th, a northwest-side apartment complex went up in flames. The fire displaced several families including the De Luna family.

According to Kassandra De Luna, her family lost everything in the fire. She told local media her husband stayed behind to attempt to save their daughter's urn, but the fire spread so quickly he barely made it out.

According to De Luna, the urn was the only keep-sake memory they had of their daughter.

The De Luna family, including five children, were moved to a neighboring unit. A GoFundMe was created in order to help the family.
