Woman Killed After Jeep Rolls Off Cliff

LUBBOCK, TX – A rollover crash claimed the life of a woman on an ATV trail at Buffalo Springs Lake near Lubbock on Saturday.

According to authorities, the woman's body was discovered after another man crashed near the area on Sunday.  The man was not injured in the crash and contacted park authorities.

The preliminary investigation revealed the woman was driving a Jeep when it rolled off the cliff onto one of the ATV trails.

While police do not believe foul play was involved they are treating the area as a crime scene. Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
