Murder Suspect Turns Himself In After Fatal Shooting

 

POTEET, TX – A 63-year-old Poteet man is behind bars months after a fatal shooting.

According to the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office, Jimmy Garza shot Brad Rumfeld at the BR Outfitters Taxidermy Shop back in February.

Earlier this month, an Atascosa County Grand Jury formally indicted Garza for murder in connection to the case.

Garza turned himself into the Texas Rangers and ACSO deputies on Wednesday. His bond was set at $100,000.
