Scattered Showers & Thunderstorms Causing Street Flooding

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Scattered showers and thunderstorms are causing street flooding in San Angelo Monday afternoon.  

According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue Monday afternoon and evening across the area.  

Areas where storms develop will experience flooded low water crossings and streets.  Small streams and low water crossings could also flood.  There is a significant chance of rain through the Independence Day weekend.  

Brief heavy rainfall, strong winds and dangerous lightning are also possible with the storms.  

There is a 50 percent chance of rain Monday afternoon increasing to 60 percent Monday night.  

There is a 50 percent chance of rain Tuesday and a 40 percent chance of rain Wednesday.  

This is a developing weather situation.
