Police Investigating Suspicious Bus Stop Death

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the suspicious death of a man found near a bus stop.

According to the SAPD, at approximately 2:00 a.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to the intersection of  Ingram Rd and Callaghan Rd for reports of a man lying in the grass. The victim himself called 9-1-1.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim with a severe puncture wound that exposed some of his internal organs.

The man, who was unconscious, was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. He would later succumb to his injures.

According to investigators, they did not locate a knife or shell casings at the scene.
