SAN ANGELO, TX -- This Saturday, the Deanda family invites the San Angelo community to lend their support to Gilbert Deanda as he raises money to travel to the Roller Hockey Nationals in Iowa this summer.
Deanda is a part of the Rolling Decatur Knights and has been invited to tryout for the World Roller Hockey Jr. USA Team. If he makes the team he will have the chance to compete at the Pan American Tournament in Florida.
Beginning at 8:00 a.m., the community to invited to visit Dominguez Cabinets, located off Martin Luther King Dr. to check out event.
The fundraiser will feature raffles, a multi-family garage sale, food plate sales, and a bake sale.
The raffles will include prizes such as a Mossberg 870 20 gauge shotgun, a certificate to Fatty's Big Burger, and a gift card to HTeaO.
The fundraiser will conclude at 3:00 p.m. The drawing for the prizes will be held on Saturday, July 3rd.
