Tom Green County Road Closed by Collapsing Culverts

MILES, TX – Tom Green County road crews Thursday closed a portion of McMillan Rd. in northeast Tom Green County because of dangerous deteriorating road conditions.

According to Tom Green County Judge Steve Floyd's office, a portion of McMillan Rd. from Mullins Crossing Rd. to FM-1692 had to be closed to traffic because of collapsing culverts.

A member of the road crew Thursday said the culvert was beginning to collapse and the road was closed out of caution.
