Incredibly Cruel Owner Jailed for Starving His Dog to Death

EL PASO, TX – A 24-year-old man is behind bars after police say he starved his dog to death.

According to the El Paso Police Department, Daniel Travon Reddick had the 3-year-old Husky in his backyard.

A necropsy of the Husky, named Duchess, showed she only had a pebble and a small shard of wood in her stomach at her time of death. 

A veterinarian determined Duchess, died as a result of long-term starvation.

Reddick as arrested by EPPD's Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. His bond was set at $5,000.
