Pedestrian Hit by Truck Near Diego's on 3rd St.

A female pedestrian was hit by a truck on 3rd St. this afternoon that was pulling out of an alley.

Investigating Officer Byrne explained that the 45-year-old female driver hit the other woman of foot as the driver pulled out of Diego's burritos. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to Shannon Medical Center. 

As of yet, the driver has not received any citations for the accident, however the investigation is ongoing and it is possible that the driver will be cited later.

The crash occurred at around 12:20 p.m. San Angelo Police, San Angelo Fire Department and Medics tended the scene.
