San Angelo Hospitalization Rate Remains Low and Steady

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Covid-19 hospitalization rate in San Angelo has stayed the same for the past three days.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on May 21, the city's health department reported another seven COVID-19 infections. This brings the total positive infections since Mar. 2020 to 16,872. 

There are currently 44 active COVID-19 infections in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. The city released 19 cases today.

There are currently 12 patients hospitalized in Tom Green County with COVID-19. This number has remained the same for three days now. 

So far there have been 309 COVID-19 fatalities in Tom Green County. 199 of them were residents of the county.
