COVID-19 Hospitalizations Reach Double Digits

SAN ANGELO, TX – Tuesday's COVID-19 report shows double digit numbers of hospitalized patients. 

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on May 18, the city's health department reported another seven COVID-19 infections. This brings the total positive infections since Mar. 2020 to 16,859. 

There are currently 52 active COVID-19 infections in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. 

There are currently eleven 11 patients hospitalized in Tom Green County with COVID-19.

So far there have been 309 COVID-19 fatalities in Tom Green County. 199 of them were residents of the county.
